_Earthdream was
concieved by MUTOID WASTE CO. in London in 1988 and since then has been
carried by word of mouth and occasional back up press globally.
We are working to acheive a balance between full on rave, workshops addressing land rights, water and uranium issues, and finally corroboree sharing with local Aboriginal groups.
"When the greater number of humanity realise that focused intent is both far less messy and violent than revolutions, governments will not have to be terminated, they will simply evaporate through lack of 'attention & serious regard' - humanity meanwhile will have more important work to be doing." - Dan Furst
Europe 1988 : Mutoid Waste co-founder Robin Mutiod conceives a journey
across the Australian desert, which will fuse a 'madder than max'
blend of theatre, protest, lifestyle and performance.
Australia 2000 : 12 years later Robin heads to Port Augusta in Australia's far south to see
who will answer the call. Those who come will be challenged on every
conceivable level on their 20,000 km long journey, bringing them together
as a community and allowing Robin to participate in a fascinating study into
the lateral human governance.
Earthdream 2012 will be starting in Perth at the winter solstice on June 21st 2012 and spiralling around the Southern expanse of the Country then up the Eastern coast, travelling to the total solar eclipse outside Cairns on the 14th November 2012 at 6:40am, then moving around to climax at the most cosmic of alignment gatherings we will ever experience in our lifetime, in the Centre of Australia, outside Alice Springs at the summer solstice on the 21st December 2012, for the party at the end of time !!!
Earthdream Adelaide will be a welcoming party for the Earthdream convoy to Adelaide and a celebration/showcase of South Australian Artists & Performers encompassed within a 3 day / 2 night camping festival less than an hour from the Adelaide CBD
