“Dear Tasmania,
This is a call out to environmentalists, free thinkers, healers, artists, land owners, philanthropists, ascension assistors, light workers, musicians, artists, DJs, VJs, manifestors… any of these ringing bells inside of you or perhaps someone you know…? Are you ready to be involved in an Ascension Assistance Gathering of Energetically Aware Beings to Unite the Crystaline Consciousness Grid in Preparation for a Galactic Allignment occurring once every 26,000 Years?! |
Earthdream has been moving through Western and South Australia since winter solstice (21st June), pooling together incredible people, situations, truthspeakings, healings, music, pyrotechnics and the list is seemingly endless. A community is forming and true colours are showing people what they can achieve and manifest when they dig deep. There are already many stories of survival, courage, love, ascension, dancing, break-throughs, eating etc.
Earthdream Adelaide originally at Wirrina Cove Resort was facilitated by some Adelaide crew with great enthusiasm and energy. I accompanied them to a meeting as observer that had many police, security firms, legal teams, refreshments, liquor licence board reps, resort manager of the proposed event site etc. Pretty much every body of “authority” wanted to know about what Earthdream was and where it was going next and where the money was coming and going and at that point I just waffled off and said it “could go anywhere at any time and that even though Tassie was on the list nothing is set in stone or anything…” The Adelaide crew were talking thousands of people potentially coming to the event, which caused quite a concern in the meeting room regarding a “festival with a ticket but no fences!” In the end, the deadline for paying bonds and completing paper-trails arrived and that plan collapsed. Watching this happen really confirmed with me what not to do, regarding Earthdream. From that point I kept a low profile regarding online action on the Tasmanian site as lots of these issues led to suddenly shutting down a festival…!, but it’s still on?..., but what the fuck is going on?!, was causing much havoc on facebook and drawing unwanted attention from bodies of “power” to people wanting to exist of the land and celebrating being of it right now and bring their tools, toys and hearts, and heal and connect and know that they are doing that. Earthdream Adelaide was an amazing spectacle. About 100 people turned up over seven days to Bonney Reserve in the Coorong region, about 160km South East of Adelaide. Three stages, one ran on solar power, made of wood INCREDIBLE, playing for days. Local police were cool and directed lost travellers to the party, had cups of tea. Thanks to the Ngarrindjeri mob for having us at such short notice. This gathering came together organically with no budget other than the generosity of all that showed up in their awesomeness. It was announced less than two weeks before the proposed date (5th-7th July). It went off beautifully, everything that was needed to make it all go smoothly was at hand, such abundance!
My long patient period of non-response to you all has been intense. The first part of the trip was spent supporting the protest at Roxby Downs to stop the expansion of Olympic Dam, the largest proposed uranium mine in the world. I hear a rumour today that BHP Billiton have delayed their expansion plans by 18 months! I look forward to cross referencing that one… Then on to the Earthdream Burnout 2012 for the Mayan Day out of Time, 25th July. Greeted warmly at the gates of Mutonia Sculpture Park by many new friends after driving through a policeman sleeping on his road blockade 60km from anywhere. It is beautiful. An amazing dusty week with too many stories and dreamings manifested to start here. I estimate around 300 people in attendance at Burnout, with the party dispersing and moving off to the next part of their Journeys.
What is here is an opportunity for us to birth a new phase, splice the new and old dreamings and live through our holographic hearts.
The Earthdream spirit is alive and well, I feel it in my bodies.

After performing and workshops in the Northern states, we are fortunate that Willy is now based in Adelaide.
Willy Vlotman was born in South Africa, and at the age of ten left with his family for life in Australia. As a qualified carpenter Willy travelled Australia to remote communities and embraced the culture of the Indigenous people, and they him. |
He was given the traditional name Djaykun by the people of the North East Arnhem Land region, and adopted by Djalu, the custodian of the Didgeridoo.
Willy learned to find, make, decorate and play the didgeridoo, and over the past 20 years has grown to be one of Australia’s most prominent Didgeridoo hunters, makers, teachers and players. Read on... |
